PALATINATE | DAHNER FELSENLAND
Palatinate - historically also called Rhenish Palatinate, is a region in southwestern Germany. It occupies more than a quarter of the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Dahner Felsenland or Dahn Rockland is located in the middle section of the Wasgau, which in turn forms the southern part of the Palatine Forest and the northern part of the Vosges in France.
We were really lucky to be greeted by the sun when we arrived in Dahn. I heard alot about these odd rock formations but never had the chance to experience them until last saturday. Despite the fact that the weather was absolutely brilliant we had a pretty neat hike and even though photography wasn't my main goal during this trip I got the chance to take some warm graded photos.
